About this song: I wrote this on the car ride back from my uncle’s house where I basically learned that I can’t move back with him to North Hollywood. Why? Well, because I can’t afford it. It basically showed me that I need to “Get my shit together” and get a 2nd/better job.  But amidst the sobbing- because I felt rather hopeless about everything at that point, the words started coming to me again. And I didn’t want them because I knew they wouldn’t put food on the table or pay the bills my mom struggles with for the both of us. I kinda wanted this to be my last song. Of course, we all know that won’t happen…but for that moment, I was done. Though it may not be my most lyrical song, it is definitely inspired.
